STANDBY – A suspended state of being in an uncertain situation.

The exhibition seeks to draw attention to the work of artists whose opportunities have become limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and would like to pay its respects to healthcare workers.

A selection of works originally from a public exhibition displayed on the World Heritage-listed Kodály körönd, the most beautiful area of Andrássy út, reflect on the situation resulting from the pandemic. Now, original artworks from the selection will also be exhibited at Art Market Budapest.

Art Market Budapest is generously providing the opportunity to present and sell these artworks to a wide audience, in the interest of supporting artists who have been extremely disadvantaged as a result of the pandemic.
