We are pleased to announce the ART PHOTO BUDAPEST PORTFOLIO REVIEW, an international event of one-on-one consultations for photographers taking place at ART PHOTO BUDAPEST on October 8-9, 2021. The APB Portfolio Review aims to provide photographers and artists working with photography the opportunity to meet face-to-face with an international team of professionals including curators, gallery directors, renowned photographers, publishers, collectors, and other industry leaders. Through the Portfolio Review, participants can expect to gain vital feedback on their artistic development, expand their professional networks and exchange ideas.

We have invited a panel of international experts in the field of photography to get as many different approaches to assessment as possible. The invited reviewers will be looking for new, emerging talents as well as works by established artists using photography. Before the event, all applications will be screened, and up to 40 photographers will be invited to join the in-person Review in October.

In addition to the critical advice and the networking opportunities provided by the sessions, a photographer selected by the jury for the 1st prize will be granted the opportunity to be featured at ART MARKET BUDAPEST VIRTUAL 2021 as well as to present a solo show at ART PHOTO BUDAPEST in 2022. Moreover, the APB Portfolio Review will include a Collectors’ Award.

The consultations will be held in English and last 20 minutes.
